Directions


From Boone: Take Highway 105 South approximately 12.8 miles to the intersection of Tynecastle Highway / Highway 184 (traffic light with shopping centers). Make a right towards Banner Elk. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Hardee Lane (.2 miles north of Lowes Home Improvement) to Elk Creek entrance.

From Marion/Linville: Take Hwy 221 North to the intersection of Highway 105 (traffic light at Grandfather Mountain sign). Turn left on 105 going north towards Boone for approximately 4 miles to the intersection of Tynecastle Highway / Highway 184 (traffic light with shopping centers). Turn left towards Banner Elk. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Hardee Lane (.2 miles north of Lowes Home Improvement) to Elk Creek entrance.

From Highways 421 or 321: Go to intersection of Highway 105 in Boone and follow directions above from Boone.

From Asheville: I-40 East (towards Statesville) to W. Marion (exit 81). Turn left at light on Sugar Hill Road and go for approximately 2.6 miles to US 221/226 North. Follow US 221 for 35.1 miles. Turn right on Newland Highway (US -221) at light. Go .7 miles turn left on Highway 105 (traffic light in Linville with Grandfather Mountain sign). Proceed north on SR-105 for 4 miles and turn left at the traffic light, Tynecastle Highway (Highway 184) toward Banner Elk. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Hardee Lane (.2 miles north of Lowes Home Improvement) to Elk Creek entrance.
